Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an incident that resulted in a man’s death.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 27, 2024, around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 16th Street and Thomas Road regarding a collision involving a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they located Ethan Jaaziel Felix, age 35, with serious injuries. Felix was transported to a nearby hospital where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim was intentionally struck with a vehicle driven by an unknown suspect. The suspect took off from the area after a short period of time.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
