Arizona’s elected leaders mourned the death of former President Jimmy Carter this week upon news of his death.
Leaders on both sides of the political aisle praised him for his service to the nation.
“Yesterday, we lost a great humanitarian. President Jimmy Carter was a proud Navy veteran and compassionate humanitarian. He dedicated his life to serving his country and community. His legacy of kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, President Carter,” tweeted Congressman-elect Abe Hamadeh.
