Fraternity Housing Board President Guilty Of Fraud And Theft

The president of the Delta Chi Alumni Board, Michael Woolbright has been convicted of fraud and theft in Pima County Superior Court.

Woolbright was charged with five counts of Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices and one count of Theft for stealing over $500,000 from the Tucson Delta Chi Alumni Board, an entity which holds title to a fraternity chapter house located on the University of Arizona campus.

On March 18, 2025, a Pima County Jury convicted Woolbright on all counts. Sentencing is set for April 28, 2025.

Woolbright repeatedly issued unauthorized checks and unauthorized wire transfers from an account belonging to Tucson Delta Chi Alumni Board, while concealing the money as legitimate payments and by withholding access to the Board’s financials from other members.
