Tucson Police Looking For Suspect That Shot At Officer

The Tucson Police Department announced on Sunday that shots were fired at an officer.

According to the Tucson Police Department, “Around 5 PM today, Westside Community Response Team officers were patrolling the Balboa Heights neighborhood, near W. Jacinto St. & N. Balboa Ave., when a suspect fired multiple rounds at an officer from a vehicle. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. However, at least one unoccupied vehicle was struck by gunfire.”

A large-scale search was conducted that extended into Downtown Tucson for the suspect vehicle, however the vehicle was not found.

Detectives are currently investigating the shooting.

The Tucson Police Department is asking anyone with information or possible video of the incident to call 911.

  1. Police want help looking for a vehicle that was seen in that neighborhood without providing any description of the vehicle. That narrows it down to tens of thousands of suspects.
