Phoenix Police Ask Public To Share Videos Of Downtown Homicide

Phoenix Police are asking the public to share videos that might shed light in a recent homicide case.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a suspect is outstanding after a shooting incident turned fatal in downtown Phoenix early Sunday morning.

At about 12:38 a.m. on April 27, 2025, officers were called to a shooting near 700 North 1st Street. As officers got to the scene, they found an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The man was taken to the hospital where he was not able to overcome his injuries and died.

Homicide detectives believe there is additional cell phone footage captured by witnesses during the incident. The Department is sharing this hyperlink where members of the public will be directed to a site where videos can be uploaded and shared with detectives.

Anyone with information to include video surveillance of the area is encouraged to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
