Airplane slides off Scottsdale runway

A small single-engine aircraft slid off the runway during a touch and go maneuver at Scottsdale Airport around 9:30 a.m. July 9. Scottsdale City Councilman Robert “Bob” Littlefield, was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn with non-life threatening injuries.

Littlefield, a flight instructor, was an occupant in the plane.

Littlefield was admitted to the hospital in good condition. The other individual involved in this incident was treated for minor injuries and released.
