Women’s Commission releases resource guide on domestic violence

The Pima County/Tucson Women’s Commission has announced the publication of the new and revised Resource Guide on Domestic Abuse, Assault and Violence. This week the Commission will begin distributing the Guide to many agencies, hospital emergency rooms, law enforcement agencies, and other appropriate sites.

The attorneys at Southern Arizona Legal Aid dedicated considerable time on the document, and Barbara LaWall, Pima County Attorney, granted $5,000 from funds seized from criminals and not from taxpayers dollars for printing.

The Commission has a limited number of copies, and once they are distributed that will be the end of the book supply. A pdf copy of the Guide will be posted on the Women’s Commission Website.

The Pima County/Tucson Women’s Commission is a 501©(3) organization dependent on your donations to continue our work. Donations are tax deductible and can be mailed to Pima County/Tucson Women’s Commission at 240 N. Court Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701.
