Tucson man dies in mid-town shooting

On May 28, at 12:38 a.m., Tucson Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 5400 block of East Andrew Street. Upon arrival, officers located 19-year old Oscar Steven Williams inside the residence suffering from gunshot trauma. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit responded to continue the investigation. They interviewed several adults that were inside the residence at the time of the shooting and examined physical evidence at the scene. At this time, the investigation is ongoing and the Tucson Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
