On September 16, 2013, at 5:35 p.m., Tucson Police Department officers responded to a report of a fight at a residence in the 200 block of South Norris Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a 55-year-old male with serious injuries as a result of a physical altercation.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
The suspects, 33-year-old Mr. Wiley Michael Troy, and 24-year-old Ms. Charlie Haney, fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers determined that the victim and Troy were related.
Detectives determined that the two suspects involved in this incident were living at the victim’s residence. The two suspects became involved in a physical altercation with the victim and fled the scene after the incident. At this time, detectives are not releasing further details into the occurrence.
On September 21, 2013, the victim in this incident succumbed to his injuries. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. A warrant now exists for 33-year-old Wiley Michael Troy for 1 count of 1st Degree Murder. A warrant also exists for 24-year-old Charlie Haney for 1 count of Aggravated Assault.
