Oro Valley farmer’s market to move

To mark the relocation of the Oro Valley Farmers Market to Steam Pump Ranch, Mayor Satish Hiremath will preside over a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. The event will be attended by community leaders, including the Oro Valley Town Council, Heirloom Farmers Market and the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“Our Saturday Farmers Market is extremely popular,” commented Mayor Satish Hiremath. “We’re excited to bring this successful event to Steam Pump Ranch, where we can utilize this historical property and build on the synergy of other programs currently held there, including Second Saturdays, public art tours and the concert series. Come join us at the Ranch!”

The Oro Valley Farmers Market, which was previously held at Town Hall, will now be held every Saturday at 10901 N. Oracle Road, just north of 1st Ave. on the west side of Oracle. Winter hours are 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
