Barrett-Jackson classic car auction in Scottsdale begins today

carThe opportunity to view some of the world’s most coveted cars and to watch art as it is being created marks the launch of Scottsdale’s special events season this weekend. The Celebration of Fine Art starts today, Saturday, Jan. 11, in the big white tents located on the southwest corner of Hayden Road and the Loop 101 Freeway.

On Sunday, Jan. 12, the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction begins an eight-day run at WestWorld, Scottsdale’s newly expanded special events center, at 16601 N. Pima Road.

Scottsdale’s free trolley service is a great way to travel to events and activities. Several trolley routes work together to connect resort corridors, special event locations and the downtown shopping and entertainment districts.
