A detainee escaped from the Camp Verde Detention Center operated by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Late Saturday afternoon Wade Cole Dickinson, was seen in the vicinity of Highway 260 and Old Highway 279 in Camp Verde. Around 2:30 p.m. he was seen running east still wearing his orange county issued jail jumpsuit.
According to Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, they have received reliable reports that the suspect has been seen in the area of Middle Verde Road and I17 at approximately 10:45PM. His clothing description has changed – it appears he is now wearing clothing described below, Dickinson also has cuts on his legs most likely from contact with barbed wire during the jail
Dickinson’s description is as follows:
• Wearing; White button up shirt, khaki pants and dirty dark socks
• Hair: Brown
• Eyes: Brown
• Height: 6’ 01”
• Weight 190 lbs
He was being held on multiple charges which included; fraud schemes, theft, prohibited possession, and possession of dangerous drugs.
Dickinson has family in the Camp Verde and Prescott Valley communities.
The escape incident is under investigation. He was last seen in a recreation yard at the Camp Verde Jail.
