The investigation revealed the presence of an illegal still and deplorable living conditions within the apartment.

The young man also suffered from various untreated injuries and infections. The subject in this case has had numerous contacts with deputies dating back to 2006. While interacting with investigators at the scene, deputies experienced him as mentally unstable. He was referred to the mental health system and is receiving healthcare for his other conditions.

The investigation is still ongoing.
