Pima County Sheriff Purses Wanted

PurseDetectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the theft of numerous purses in one incident from the TJ Maxx store located at 6230 N. Oracle Road. The incident occurred on February 6, 2015 at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Surveillance video obtained from the store showed the suspect inspecting a number of purses and deliberately choosing several of them. He then leaves the store without paying. The purses have an estimated retail value between $1,000 and $2,000.

The suspect was described as an African-American man wearing a black shirt, khaki pants and glasses.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.

  1. Ah, tell me it ain’t so. A black man committing a crime?? Got to be careful or Rev. Al will come to town and say its racist to keep him from looting a store. Yea, its in the genes, right Al??
