Tucson man killed after crashing motorcycle into house

On March 30, 2015, just after 11:50 a.m., Tucson Police officers responded to a collision involving a motorcycle into a house in the 900 Block of West Wedwick Street.

Detectives were able to determine that the driver of a 2007 Yamaha Sport Motorcycle, 42 year-old Andres Pino, was assisting his brother with repairs on the motorcycle. The Mr. Pino then got on the motorcycle and proceeded westbound on Wedwick at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle struck a slanted curb in front of a residence in the 900 Block of West Wedwick and then rode through the front door of that residence. Mr. Pino proceeded through the house and crashed into the rear sliding glass door. None of the occupants in the residence were injured.

TFD personnel were requested and responded. Mr. Pino was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Speed was a factor in the collision and Mr. Pino was not wearing a helmet.
