19 yr old arrested in Tucson homicide

On the afternoon of April 14, 2015, detectives obtained a felony arrest warrant for 19-year-old Micah Morgan reference his involvement with the shooting death of Herschel Watkins III.

On April 16, 2015, Mr. Morgan was located on the east side of Tucson by U.S. Marshals. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Pima County Jail on his active felony arrest warrant for Manslaughter.

On April 14, 2015, just after midnight, officers from Operations Division Midtown responded to the report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of East 29th Street. Upon arrival, officers were directed to an apartment where they located an adult male on the floor, with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.

Officers immediately rendered first-aid to the victim, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after their arrival. Detectives responded to the scene to continue the investigation. They were able to determine that several individuals were inside of the apartment when the shooting took place. One individual fled from the scene prior to police arrival. That individual has not been located. The initial investigation has revealed that the individuals in the apartment knew each other and the shooting was not a random act of violence.

  1. This punk looks like he is a gang member and therefor can be designated as Non essential and Expendable personnel. I am sure that some slick lawyer is going to use that old B.S. crap about him coming from a broken home and being abused as a child. He is no longer a child and should be tried as an adult and if found guilty given the death sentence to be carried out as quickly as possible. It is time for all good people that are NOT politically correct to start to get rid of the trash in our city.
