Anthem Memorial Day Ceremony
The public is invited to this ceremony at Anthem Veterans Memorial. The ceremony, “A Day of Remembrance,” honors the service and sacrifice of veterans who have died serving the U.S. Seating is limited; lawn chairs are welcome.
Avondale Sunset Memorial Day Service
A program to commemorate the of those who served. The evening will include musical performances, speeches, tributes and a candlelight vigil. Avondale City Hall Amphitheater, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive (outdoors). Free admission. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Memorial Day in Litchfield Park
A ceremony will take place in front of the World War II Memorial on the west lawn of Litchfield Elementary School, 255 E. Wigwam Blvd., Litchfield Park, Arizona 85340. The ceremony is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and is open to the public. Light refreshments, while supplies last. Parking will be available in the school parking lot on the south side of the school. Free.

Phoenix: Flags for Our Fallen
American Flags and Motorcycles paying tribute. The flag display and salute along with the official Ceremony are free. Phoenix National Cemetary, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. For $10 donation you can sponsor a flag. Register online. Free.

Phoenix: Memorial Day Observance
Come share a historic view of Memorial Day. There will be representatives of many of the historic organizations in the Valley, tours of the 1897 Smurthwaite House, self-guided tours of the cemeteries, and light refreshments. Residents are invited to commemorate Memorial Day at the Chaplain Statue at Scottsdale City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. This annual event is hosted by several local veterans groups. For more information, call 480-941-0130.

Nogales Memorial Day Ceremony
On Memorial Day – Monday, May 25 – veterans, their families and friends will congregate at the County Veterans Memorial Cemetery for a ceremony honoring deceased veterans starting at 10 a.m.. There will be speeches by Mayor John Doyle and the commanders of the local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts; a remembrance ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 555; a wreath ceremony; and the traditional 21-gun salute by members of the combined color guard of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Prescott Valley Memorial Day Event
This event at the Prescott Valley Civic Center is presented by Honor and Remember, which recognizes the sacrifice of fallen military members and their families. Special guests include Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog and U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar.
