Downtown Tucson will be the host of a Halloween block party on Saturday, October 31, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Beginning Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2 p.m. until Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 4 a.m., Congress Street will be closed between Sixth Avenue and Stone Avenue and Stone Avenue will be closed between Pennington Street and Congress Street. Also during those same hours, Scott Avenue will be closed between the 10th Street alley (just south of the Pennington Street Garage) and Broadway. Sun Link Streetcar service will be maintained on Congress Street during this closure.
Pedestrian and bicycle access is being maintained in and around road closures. Businesses, parking garages and parking lots are open and accessible. There are over 15,000 available parking spaces in the Downtown Tucson. The traveling public should use caution when driving, bicycling or walking in these areas. Please watch for event participants, obey all traffic control, and watch for detour signs and personnel providing traffic control.
