Mesa Wife Assaults Husband, Drives Into Home

Jennifer Fletcher Assualts husband with car and damages house.

On July 5, 2016, at approximately 6:30 a.m., 32-year-old suspect Jennifer Fletcher from Mesa, Arizona, committed Aggravated Assault, Felony Criminal Damage and Endangerment x 4 at a residence in the 1000 block of South Road 1 West in Chino Valley, Arizona. Fletcher is currently separated from her husband, the victim, who lives at this location.  She was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center and remains in-custody on a $7500 bond.

Jennifer showed up at the residence today and during a discussion inside the home, made accusations against the victim. She then went outside and began to load cans of gasoline into the bed of the victim’s truck. When he tried to stop her, she got into her 2010 Toyota Prius and backed into him. The assaultive action pinned him between her vehicle and his truck and he suffered injuries to his right leg and mid-section. The victim eventually broke free and hobbled into house through the front door.

Jennifer then drove the Toyota into the home striking the front door area in an apparent attempt to continue her assault on the victim. In the living room and just a few feet away were the couple’s 3 children ages 4, 12, and 16. The victim gathered up the kids and went to the back yard while waiting for officers. Chino Valley Police Department officers arrived within a few minutes and detained Jennifer for deputies.

Fire personnel arrived to check the victim and suspect. Jennifer was cleared for booking and the victim will be seeking medical treatment for an injury to his leg. None of the children were injured.

Damage to the home is estimated at $10,000.

  1. She sounds crazy, but what drove her to that point? I wish more men just told the truth whether it is good, bad, or indifferent. I would have more respect for someone who actually ended a relationship in person rather than ghosting, not answering a phone call or text. People need closure.
