MCSO Arrests Phoenix Pizza Delivery Man For Child Porn

A 38-year-old pizza delivery man has been arrested by detectives in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit on charges related to the possession of child pornography, Sheriff Joe Arpaio reported today. The arrest of Phoenix resident, 39 year old John Brunsman was made on August 16, 2016, at his home located at 5121 N. 12th Avenue, following a two month investigation that revealed the subject had hundreds of child pornography images and videos on his computer.

“The harm caused to children who are subject to this kind of abuse may be irreparable,” said Sheriff Arpaio. “My detectives will continue to investigate and arrest all individuals involved in this criminal activity.”

A previous arrest by Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes detectives in a similar case, resulted in a guilty plea from James Robert Desilva, a former IT specialist for the Arizona Department of Real Estate.

Brunsman admitted to detectives that he had been downloading and sharing child pornography for the past four years. He was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, all class 2 felonies.

  1. (My previous comment within the confines of this space was deemed unacceptable because it was categorized as being “too short”.) Also: Way to go, Sheriff Joe!
