Mohave County Sheriff Seeks Help Identifying Teen Body

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the homicide of an unidentified African American teen female who was located on north Highway 93 between Kingman, Arizona and the Hoover Dam.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying the girl described as:

African/American or Biracial female
Black/dark brown hair
Between the ages of 13 to 17
Approximately 5 ft 7 inches tall
Between 105 and 130 lbs
Pierced ears, no scars or tattoos

The body was discovered in the early evening on September 28 by two hikers. Authorities estimate that the body had been exposed to the elements between one to two weeks. Dental records were obtained and have been uploaded into the National database. DNA samples were obtained and are being processed for profile.
