Fake Intelligence Report

I recently read the declassified Background to “Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections”: The Analytic Process and Cyber Incident Attribution. The key word in the title is Assessing, which means measuring, evaluating judging, weighing, gauging, etc.

The first thing you need to know about this declassified report is that there is not one shred of evidence supporting any statement in the report. Almost every operative paragraph begins with “We assess . . .” For example, “we assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election.” But there is no evidence to support this opinion.

Again, “Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.” Where is the evidence? Further, why would the Russians prefer Trump over Obama/Clinton? The Russians ran circles around Obama/Clinton and made them look like idiots. Trump on the other hand is going to rebuild the military.

Why would the Russians want to denigrate Hillary Clinton when she was doing such a swell job of denigrating herself, her credibility and her competence. Let me count the ways: private, unsecured email server that was hacked by numerous state actors; Benghazi cover-up; Clinton Global Initiative “pay to play” gambit; destruction of government property and obstruction of justice (wiping her computer server clean of governmental emails that were and are the property of the federal government), and perjury (lying to a federal judge about whether she returned all governmental emails to the State Department). Most importantly, she is considered untrustworthy by the majority of Americans.

The so-called intelligence report stated, “Putin most likely wanted to discredit Secretary Clinton . . .”  Putin most likely . . . that’s speculation not fact. Again, there is a dearth of evidence. This entire so-called intelligence report is replete with conclusions absent of facts or evidence:

  • Putin Ordered Campaign to Influence US Election – no facts, no evidence.
  • Russian Campaign was Multifaceted – no facts, no evidence.
  • Cyber Espionage Against US Political Organizations – no facts, no evidence.
  • Public Disclosure of Russian-Collected Data – no facts, no evidence.
  • Russian Cyber Intrusians Into State and Local Electoral Boards – no facts, no evidence.
  • Russian Propaganda Efforts – no facts, no evidence.

This so-called intelligence report is long on speculation and short on facts and evidence. In fact this report smells of cheap political disinformation produced by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, and FBI Director James Comey, all Obama appointees. This report was nothing less than a tactic to distract from the Hillary Clinton loss to Donald Trump. It is a blatant attempt to delegitimize the Trump presidency,

Just like the 68 Democrats who boycotted the inauguration tried to do.

These people are small, cheap, political hacks. They are not patriotic Americans. They are members of America’s largest organized Criminal cartel, the Democratic Party. Due to Obama policies, the Democratic Party is in ruins. It has 11 fewer Senate seats, 63 fewer House seats, and 800 fewer seats in State legislatures.  The Democrats control the governor’s mansion and legislature in just six states.

Keep up the good work. Your fake news and fake intelligence reports correlate with your death spiral.
