The Maricopa County Stadium District completed about $4 million worth of concrete and steel work in the off-season as part of a long-term plan to ensure the stadium is in good condition. The Stadium District has worked in partnership with the Diamondbacks to complete $46 million worth of repairs and improvements to Chase Field since 2005.
The Stadium District owns and operates Chase Field. The Diamondbacks pay rent to the District to play at Chase Field. Opening Day this year is Sunday, April 2.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will partner with several Arizona-based companies for the 2017 season, including Danzeisen Dairy, Four Peaks Brewing Company, Maui Wowi Hawaiian Smoothies, Muscular Moving Men and State Forty Eight.
“The D-backs are very excited to partner with local companies for the upcoming season,” said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. “There are so many amazing companies in our own backyard and the D-backs are truly the hometown team when it comes to offering fans the freshest products available, from the Team Shop to the dining experience at Chase Field.
