This Russian Thing

President Obama caught by a live microphone as he told President Dmitri A. Medvedev of Russia that he would have “more flexibility” to negotiate on the delicate issue of missile defense after the November election,

On December 13, 2012, President Obama was overheard over a hot microphone promising President Dmitri Medvedev that Obama would have more flexibility in negotiations with the Russians after the election:

President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it is important for him [Putin] to give me space.”

President Medvedev: “  Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you . . .”

President Obama:  “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”

President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you.”

Thus was born the secret relationship with the Russians, not by the Trump administrations but by the Obama administration. The Obama administration saw relations with Russia’s neighbors through the eyes of Moscow.  The former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili,  commented that the Obama administration’s fear of angering Putin meant American capitulation.

When Russia began interfering in the Ukraine, Ukrainian leaders told Saakashvili that Secretary of State John Kerry insisted that Kiev do nothing to provoke Russia. As a result, Russia annexed Crimea.

In January 2013, Rosatom (the Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation) purchases the remainder of Uranium One and took it private with the approval of Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration. This sale of a portion of our strategic  uranium reserve is tantamount to treason

In return for millions of dollars donated to the Clinton Foundation and steep Russian payments to Bill Clinton for speeches, the Obama administration sold Russia 20 percent of American uranium supplies.

Adam Housely, Fox News, obtained new information, reported 3/31/17, that survelliance of Trump and his team began even before he was the GOP nominee. Housely’s sources are not Trump people and say they know one of the people behind the leaks. That person is a very senior and very well known person in the intelligence community who is not associated with the FBI. Housely indicated that the spreading of names was done for political reasons, not national security.

That very senior and well known person appears to be Obama loyalist and former Central Intelligence director John Brennan, who pushed for a multi-agency investigation of alleged Trump-Russian ties.  Brennan was complicit in this smear campaign because Obama was afraid that Trump was too strong for Hillary Clinton. If Clinton lost, Obama’s legacy would be destroyed.

In addition, we now know that John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, failed to disclose that he was on the board of a Russian financed company, Joule, at the same he joined the Obama administration. He received 75,000 shares of stock, which he failed to declare. Shortly after joining Joule, Russia invested $35 million in the company. The real story is not allegations that Trump and his team colluded with Russia but the immense efforts at covering up the collusion of the Obama administration with the Russians.

As the Obama presidency drew to a close, it became apparent that Obama’s team needed diversion to keep their Russian ties hidden. John Brennan provided that diversion based on fabricated intelligence ostensibly received from a Baltic state. Fake intelligence began filtering down through the government due to a premeditated loosening of the rules as to who could see unfiltered intelligence.

There was a rush by the Obama administration to document false intelligence supporting Russian hacking of the election (never proven) and about Russian contacts with the Trump team (still awaiting any hard evidence). Why the rush to document fake intelligence? The Obama administration wanted to make it look like it was trying to preserve intelligence in order to embarrass and delegitimize the Trump administration.  All of this activity surged after it became clear Hillary Clinton lost the presidency. It became a full court press to protect Obama.

Based on all the information released by Edward Snowden and Wikileaks, both of whom have been accurate at every turn, it is clear that the Obama administration has politicized our intelligence agencies and criminalized many departments of the United States Government, beginning with the Justice Department.

The House and Senate Intelligence Committees are investigating the wrong people. These committees should be investigating Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, John Brennan, Hillary Clinton and John Podesta . . . for starters.
