We are working closely with Tucson Police Department, TUSD School Safety, and District Leadership to ensure the safety of our students and investigate the report. We will have both agencies present on campus today.

It has also been brought to our attention that this possible threat is circulating to students via text message and may make its way to Social Media. We will remain in communication regarding the status of the situation. Please know it is our priority to keep all of students and staff safe.

TUSD Governing Board member Michael Hicks said, “I have complete confidence in our staff and our local law enforcement officers. It is unfortunate that someone would create this situation, but we must take every threat seriously. The safety of our staff and our students is our highest priority.”
