First, Herd Mentality, Then . . .

Democrats have been screaming that former FBI Director James Comey cost Hillary Clinton the presidency and should be fired. President Trump fired Comey for cause. Now the Democrats express faux outrage at the Comey’s demise.

The Democrats and their allies in the propaganda press act as one, a demonstration of herd mentality. The lead horse turns left, the whole left wing herd turns left. But it now goes beyond herd mentality . . . to herd dishonesty. The Democrat dishonest lie is that Trump derailed the Russia investigation. Yet, all investigations into the Russian issues (collusion and election meddling) are ongoing in the Senate, the House and the FBI.

For example, Senator “Crying Chuck” Schumer, in late 2016, expressed dissatisfaction with Director Comey’s handling of of the Hillary Clinton email investigation. “I don’t have confidence in him any longer,” complained “Crying Chuck.”

After President Trump fired Director Comey, “Crying Chuck” stated (before cameras, of course), that President Trump was “making a bug mistake.” Then Crying Chuck called for appointment of a special prosecutor . . . again.

Then Senator Richard “Stolen Valor” Blumenthal claimed Comey’s firing  creates a constitutional crisis and could lead to President Trump’s impeachment. How “Stolen Valor” conflates a legal personnel termination with high crimes and misdemeanors is best left to medical personnel. Remember, “Stolen Valor” claimed to be a Vietnam veteran as a Marine reservist, although he never did go to Vietnam.

In late 2016, Democrats were in chorus demanding that Director Comey be fired. Even the Democratic Party propaganda arm, ABC News, instead of calling out the Democrats for flip-flopping on Comey, came to the defense of unhinged Democrats protesting Comey’s firing. Herd mentality, then  . . . herd dishonesty.

Now Democrats are in chorus again. Since the FBI Director reports to the Deputy Attorney General, Democrats are demanding that Rod Rosenstein recuse himself from any involvement in the Russian meddling issue. This is the Deputy Attorney General who was confirmed for office by a margin of 94 to 6. Herd mentality, then

. . .  herd dishonesty.

Now Senate Democrats are threatening to slow the Senate to a crawl in response to the firing of Director Comey. I’m not sure how much slower the Senate can be as the Democrats have been slow-walking all of Trump’s nominees.

The Democrats keep insisting that Trump fired Comey because the FBI was closing in on the illusive Russian connection. The FBI has been investigating this issue for about a year. No direct connection between Russia and Trump has ever been released. The unclassified report released by former CIA Director John Brennan failed to contain even one shred of evidence concerning Russian meddling.

So, while the Democrats are focused on unsubstantiated rumors on Russian issues, neither John Podesta not Hillary Clinton, both of whom had substantial Russian connections, have not been the subject of investigations to their Russian connections.

PJ Media quoted Peter Schweizer during an appearance on “Fox and Friends:” “In 2011, John Podesta joins the board of this very small energy company called Joule Energy based out of Massachusetts,” Schweizer said. “About two months after he joins the board, a Russian entity called Rusnano puts a billion rubles — which is about 35 million dollars — into John Podesta’s company. Now, what is Rusnano? Rusnano is not a private company . . . It is a fund directly funded by the Kremlin. In fact, the Russian science minister called Rusnano Putin’s child. So you have the Russian government investing in one of John Podesta’s businesses in 2011, while he is an advisor to Hillary Clinton at the State Department.”

The Clinton Foundation received $145 million from uranium investors and Bill received a $500,000 speaking fee from a Russian bank tied to the Kremlin, which prompted Hillary Clinton to approve the sale of 20 percent of American’s uranium

to Russian energy agency Rostatom.

In addition to John Podesta and Hillary Clinton, why wasn’t Barack Obama investigated over this uranium sale?

Herd mentality, then . . . herd dishonesty.
