On September 17, 2017 the Casa Grande Police officers arrested 53 year old Anthony Martinez, a JROTC teacher at Vista Grande High School, in connection with an ongoing investigation involving him and a 15 year old female student. Martinez turned himself in to police yesterday and was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.
H was charged with one count of Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation.
On August 30, Vista Grande High School staff were made aware of potential inappropriate text messages between Martinez and the minor. School officials contacted CGPD and a police investigation was immediately initiated.
