Navajo Code Talker Willie Passes Away At Age Of 92 In Arizona

Navajo Code Talker George B. Willie Sr., age 92, of Leupp, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday. A celebration of life is scheduled December 8, at the Presbyterian Church in Leup.

Navajo Code Talker Willie served in the Marine Corps with the Second Marine Division from 1943 to 1946. He served in the Battle of Okinawa.

Navajo Code Talker Willie is survived by his wife Emma, 10 children and several grandchildren.
