Tucson Police Identify Sexual Assault Suspect

The Tucson Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that occurred at approximately 5:30 Saturday morning at a housing complex in Midtown Tucson. On January 13, 2018, a female security guard reported that an unknown male physically and sexually assaulted her while she was conducting security checks inside of the complex located at 1201 N. Park Avenue.

After speaking with the victim and collecting evidence from the scene, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 26-year-old Carl Anthony Parris.

The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate Parris, who is described as an African American male, approximately 6’0 tall with a thin build and possible beard. He has multiple tattoos on his body, including the name “Diana” on the right side of his neck. Parris also has a dark colored mark on his forehead. Parris should be considered extremely dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information about his possible whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and is now with family members.
