The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office as the Chief Law Enforcement Office having jurisdiction where the offender resides to make notification to the community of Jesus Javier Guerrero.
The individual who appears on this notification, 23-year-old , has been convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification. This sex offender has advised the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office that he will be living at 3429 N Pima Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ., 86314.
In October, 2015, 21-year old offender sent a 15-year old female a picture of his genitals and sexually explicit messages. When interviewed, offender admitted he knew the victim as a minor. On March 17, 2017, the Yavapai County Grand Jury indicted him charging four counts of Aggravated Luring a Minor and Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation. On May 1, 2017, offender entered into a plea agreement pleading guilty to one count of Aggravated Luring of a Minor, a class 2 felony and three counts of Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, all class 3 felonies. On June 13, 2017, the Yavapai County Superior Court sentenced offender to a term of 180 days FLAT TIME and sex offender registration. Guerrero is considered a level 2, intermediate, risk and is on probation.
Offenders are categorized into three levels: Level One (low risk to the community), Level Two (intermediate risk to the community) and Level Three (high risk to the community). Guerrero is considered a level 2, intermediate, risk and is on probation and is not wanted by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
