Members from the Tucson Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the male to Banner University Medical Center with severe head injuries.

On April 11, 2018, detectives were notified the male succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. He has been identified at 32-year-old Robert E. Hernandez.
