Border Patrol Agent Hospitalized, Shot In Southern Arizona, “Subjects” In Custody

Today, the U.S. Border Patrol says one of its agents was wounded in a shooting in southern Arizona near the U.S.-Mexico border. The shooting occurred south of Arivaca at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Several “subjects” were taken into custody.

The agent was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Border Patrol provided no information on the agent’s injuries or condition. The National Border Patrol Council posted on Facebook that the agent “appears to be in good condition.”
