Amado resident, Emmanuel Munoz, age 18, is in custody for assaulting a coworker.
According to Sahuarita Police, on May 10, 2019, officers responded to a local restaurant in the 18000 block of I-19 Frontage Road, about a male employee who pointed a handgun at a female coworker in an adjacent parking lot while asking her if she wanted to die.
Investigators found that the crime, which occurred during the evening hours on May 09, was witnessed by multiple bystanders.
Munoz was booked into the Pima County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Threats and Intimidation, and Endangerment.
On May 11, 2019, Sahuarita Police executed a search warrant at a residence associated with Munoz near the 28000 block of South Royal Drive in Amado and found two handguns. Both were collected as evidence.
