Tucson Woman Arrested For November Hit And Run

On December 4, Adrianna Gail McCutcheon, age 28 was arrested in connection with a serious injury hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian that occurred on November 28, 2018.

McCutcheon was booked into Pima County Jail for 1 count of Leaving the Scene of a Serious Injury Accident.

On November 28, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Tucson Police and members of the Tucson Fire Department responded to the area just south of the E. 22nd St. and S. Kolb Rd. intersection for a report of a serious injury collision. Upon arrival, first responders were directed to an injured minor in the roadway. Tucson Fire quickly transported the male victim to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives learned from interviews with witnesses that the victim was crossing Kolb Rd. eastbound. McCutcheon was driving her vehicle northbound on Kolb Rd. in the curb lane when the driver’s side of the vehicle struck the victim. Witnesses observed the vehicle fleeing the scene eastbound on E. 22nd St. The victim was not in a crosswalk (marked or implied) when he was struck.

On December 4, 2018, patrol officers obtained an anonymous tip which led them to an address in the 1100 block of South Lehigh Drive. Officers located the vehicle, under a tarp at the residence and a search warrant was served by detectives who confirmed the vehicle was involved in this collision. The vehicle was seized and transported to the Tucson Police Impound Lot as evidence.
