Chandler Man Sentenced For Theft, Narcotic Drug Dealing

Robert Thomas Padilla, Sr., was the last defendant in a group of seven that were buying and selling stolen property, as well as selling dangerous and narcotic drugs from a Chandler home.

According to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, between March 1, 2017, and September 1, 2017, Chandler Police detectives received a tip and learned of a group of individuals buying and selling stolen property, as well as selling methamphetamine and heroin. Over the course of the investigation, undercover officers purchased illegal drugs from Padilla and associates.

Padilla pleaded guilty to one felony count of Illegally Conducting an Enterprise and to two felony counts of Sale or Transfer of Narcotic Drugs.

29-year-old Francisco Andres de la Torre was sentenced to 2.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections.

56-year-old Pedro Gutierrez was sentenced to 5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections, to be followed by a 4-year term of supervised probation.

49-year-old Darrell Thompson was sentenced to 5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections, to be followed by a 3-year term of supervised probation.

23-year-old Brooke Rhodes Arnold was sentenced to three years of probation.

29-year-old Kyle Robert O’Brien was sentenced to 2 years of probation.

24-year-old Alissa Angelic Rodriguez was sentenced to 18 months of probation.
