PHOENIX — Police have arrested 20-year-old Joshua Gonzalez in connection with the apparent road rage shooting that took the life of a 10-year-old girl and injured her father.

On Thursday, after police released a sketch of the suspect and information about the truck he was driving and a surveillance video that showed the truck following the family’s vehicle received a tip. The tip led them to Gonzalez’s vehicle at a home near 61st Avenue and Indian School Road Thursday night.

According to ABC15, “Court paperwork says investigators watched as the suspect washing a Ford F-150 that matched the one seen on surveillance video.”

Gonzalez was booked into jail on one count of first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
