The cast of Saturday Night Live took on the ladies of The View this week with a scathing portrayal of Meghan McCain, played Aidy Bryant.
“Can I just say something as the Princess of Arizona? There is a crisis at the border, and the border is right up in my Arizona, which was founded on sunburnt women selling turquoise jewelry, not rando Mexicans. And that’s not racist because my makeup artist is gay,” Bryant said in a pitch-perfect portrayal of McCain.
When Kate McKinnon, playing Joy Behar, responded to McCain, the princess snapped back, “Can you let me talk because it’s actually your job to listen to me!”
Whoopi Goldberg, played by Leslie Jones, insisted the two women stop squabbling while squirting them with a water bottle. “OK, stop it,” said Goldberg. “We’re not going to do this. This is The View. We’re five best friends with nothing in common.”

Last Monday, during one of their usual arguments, McCain told Behar, “Part of your job is to listen to me. Just saying.”
Goldberg was forced to jump in and the heated exchange. “Here’s what’s not gonna happen today; we’re not gonna do this. Everybody gets a conversation piece, everybody gets to say their piece, and we don’t need to comment if we don’t like what we’re hearing. Just let folks talk.”
Thank you for a great week – @TheView is officially on spring hiatus until the 22nd! I am going to make a noble attempt at taking a social media break/cleanse/going off the grid until then, (we’ll see how it goes). Catch ya on the flip side… pic.twitter.com/ECrPyhpESS
