Man Shot Killed At Oracle Road Circle K

A Tucson man, 24 year-old Bernardo Ramirez-Ramirez, was shot and killed after an altercation that occurred at the Circle K near W. Grant Road and N. Oracle Road.

According to Tucson Police, on September 6, 2019, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at 2332 N. Oracle Road. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Ramirez-Ramirez with obvious signs of gunshot trauma inside the business.

Mr. Ramirez-Ramirez was transported to Banner University Medical Center and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Tucson Police detectives were able to conduct interviews with several witnesses and processed the scene. They determined that the male suspect was inside the business when Mr. Ramirez-Ramirez entered with a female. An argument began between the suspect and Mr. Ramirez-Ramirez. After the suspect had made a purchase from the business, the confrontation continued. The confrontation turned physical and at some point the suspect produced a handgun. Mr. Ramirez-Ramirez was subsequently struck at least once by gunfire.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot and has not yet not been located.
