Corey Morris pleaded guilty to Attempted Sexual Assault, Burglary, and Voyeurism.
One early morning in September of 2015, Morris entered a home that was rented by four young females. While inside, Morris wore a clown mask as he entered victim one’s bedroom and attempted to sexually assault the young girl. The victim screamed, which alerted one of her roommates, victim two. The roommate entered victim one’s room and started to scream, Morris then fled. Morris’ fingerprint, phone, and DNA were left behind.
Morris’ phone had videos of two women and a man undressing. From the angle of the camera, it was recorded from the outside of different homes looking in. After searching the area where the phone was discovered, they found a victim in one of the videos. She did not know Morris.
On June 26, 2017, Morris was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Janet Bostwick to 30.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections followed by lifetime probation.
