PHOENIX– This week, Harrison Jumbo, 46, of Many Farms, Ariz., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Diane J. Humetewa to 72 months’ imprisonment. Jumbo had previously pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
In March 2014, Jumbo drove his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and prescribed medication. Jumbo collided with another vehicle causing the death of the victim. Jumbo is a member of the Navajo Nation, as was the victim.
Navajo Nation Criminal Investigations conducted the investigation.
