After leaving the Citizen, Loretta and her husband John started the Arizona Daily Independent in 2011. The Arizona Daily Independent is a member of the Arizona Newspapers Association. Loretta’s coverage of the abuse of minor refugees in shelters has been picked up by CNN, the Los Angeles Times, and many other outlets.
