The Cardinals’ next home game at State Farm Stadium, Dec. 6 against the Rams, will be closed to the general public based on the latest information about COVID-19 and the advice from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
A limited number of spectators will be allowed, a group comprised of family members of Cardinals players and staff.
In the previous two home games against the Bills and Dolphins, there were 4,200 spectators allowed, but rising COVID numbers in the state changed the equation.
Decisions about fans attending home games beyond Dec. 6 will be determined and announced at a later date.
The Cardinals had no spectators in the first home game of the season against Washington. There was a trial run of 750, comprised of family from players and staff, against the Lions. Then 1,200 fans were allowed for the Seahawks before the 4,200 each for the Dolphins and Bills.
After the Rams game, the Cardinals will have two home games remaining, against the Eagles on Dec. 20, and the 49ers on either Dec. 26 or 27.
