Two Arrested In Yuma Drug Bust

YUMA – Two people, Martin Ballesteros and Ashley Treat, are in custody after a multi-agency task force served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of West 9th Street, in Yuma, Arizona.

The Yuma County Narcotics Task Force is comprised of officers and agents from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the Yuma Police Department, the U.S. Border Patrol, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Homeland Security Investigations, and both the Yuma Police Department and Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.

The task force search led to the discovery of Fentanyl pills, Methamphetamine, Heroin and paraphernalia.

The 47-year-old Ballesteros, and 32-year-old Treat were arrested and booked by the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force into the Yuma County Detention Center for Possession of Narcotic Drugs for Sales, Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Destruction of Evidence.
