Seven Semi-Finalists Chosen To Replace Chucri

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors narrowed the list to seven finalists to fill the vacancy left former Supervisor Steve Chucri.  The selection of the replacement could be made as soon as next week.

Chucri represented District 2 until he resigned after he was caught on audio recordings telling the truth about his colleagues’ their fear of an audit of the 2020 General Election.

The seven finalists include:

  • Thomas Galvin, attorney at Rose Law Group
  • Christopher Glover, former Mesa councilman
  • Suzanne Klapp, former Scottsdale councilwoman
  • Daniel Mahoney, attorney at Snell and Wilmer
  • Corey Mishkin, real estate developer
  • Thomas O’Malley, attorney
  • Vernon Parker, former Paradise Valley mayor

The seven candidates were chosen from a total of twenty-two applicants.
