On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, AZDPS detectives arrested two suspects in Phoenix on charges related to narcotics trafficking.
Peoria residents Carlos Sanchez Ibarra, 22, and Luis Enriquez Quinones, 24, were booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges including possession and transportation of a narcotic drug for sale and conspiracy. Ibarra also faces one count of unlawful flight from a law enforcement officer.
During the investigation, detectives located approximately 28.4 pounds of fentanyl pills and seized seven rifles, one handgun and over 3,900 rounds of ammunition.
