An arrest has been made by Tempe Police Department officers in a deadly accident that occurred on December 27.
Officers arrested Luis Enrique Hidalgo-Mendez for Unlawful Means of Transportation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for the death of 55-year-old Lewis Kemp in Phoenix.
Mr. Lewis was killed when his pickup truck was hit by Hidalgo-Mendez who drove a sedan through a stop sign near the intersection of 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Police say Mendez took off on foot before police arrived.
