The Green Valley Fire Department, was called to the scene of a car accident at Esperanza and I-19 approximately 12:10 p.m., on Friday.
According to the Department, while using the ramp off of I-19 northbound, the driver lost control and the vehicle struck the wall near the Tractor Supply Store.
First responders were able to extricate the victim to provide medical treatment.
The driver was transported to NW Hospital Sahuarita with life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
