After working tirelessly throughout the month, Phoenix Police detectives have arrested two men for the shooting death of 20-year-old Malik Hillman.
On July 26, 2023, Bieves Basilio and Demarion Guy were arrested for first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault
On July 4, Malik Hillman was shot in a west Phoenix neighborhood. He was taken by witnesses to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
