A Yuma couple, Manuel Marquez, age 82 and Patricia Marquez, age 79, have been identified as the victims of homicide.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at approximately 8:58 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1900 Block of W. Chico Lane in reference to a possible burglary and two missing persons.
The reporting party went to check on the elderly couple that resided at the residence and contacted law enforcement after noticing the residence had been possibly burglarized.
When deputies arrived, they conducted a search of the property and located the Mr. and Mrs. Marquez deceased inside the residence.
