According to the Phoenix Police Department, on May 2, 2024, around 2:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 21st Street and Broadway Road regarding a collision involving a motorcycle. When officers arrived, they located the adult male motorcycle rider, identified as 57-year-old Mark David Adams. Adams was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, Adams did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene. At the same time, the motorcycle operated by Adams was also eastbound and struck the vehicle driven by Lopez Alvarez as it crossed Adams’ lane. Lopez Alvarez was determined to be the at fault vehicle in the collision.
